As we think about the various holidays, we are reminded that women helped establish religious traditions and religions in the U.S. In addition, women helped to fight for religious freedom – and were even executed for the cause!

The World Health Organization estimates that more than 220 million people worldwide have diabetes. In the U.S., it
is estimated that approximately 24 million people, or just under 8% of the population, have been struck with this disease – and its incidence is increasing.
